Custom Order!

I live in Iowa, and it is definitely still chilly enough for earwarmer headbands out here. Shoot, we even had an ice storm the other day, and snow appeared today! But, this custom order isn't even for someone local. My customer purchased it for a friend of hers out in Switzerland! Very cool, eh?

I absolutely love the way the gray and cream look wound together, and the wood button really finishes it off! If you are interested in purchasing your own earwarmer headband (in any colors you'd like!), send me an e-mail at casscrochetcreations@yahoo.com or check out my Etsy listing here.

Happy Wednesday!

Custom Order!

Just as I promised you yesterday, I have a hooded cowl to share with you! This cowl is so beautiful, I really don't have a lot of words to explain it, so I'll just share photos!

The cowl is available in any color yarn and buttons. It is crocheted with a thicker yarn and is a great way to be fashionable and warm at the same time!

I don't have it listed on Etsy yet, so if you are interested in ordering, feel free to send me an e-mail at casscrochetcreations@yahoo.com. Hopefully the customer who ordered it will post photos of her daughter wearing it on my Facebook page!

Happy Tuesday!

Custom Order!

It has been a hop, skip and a jump since I have posted on this here ol' blog! And by that I mean it's been about a week. Or 8 days if you are counting.

This earwarmer headband was custom ordered from a repeat customer at the Holiday Expo, and I'm not sure why (and how) I forgot to share it!

I love how natural and almost organic it seems with the cream yarn and wood button. Sweet, simple, beautiful. Just the way I like it.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and spent lots of time with the ones you love!

Happy Wednesday!

Introducing: Earwarmer Headbands!

Alright so I failed at blogging on Friday, sue me. Well, not really, but does it count as a valid excuse if I was busy at work all day and then went out for a date night with my favorite guy?

One of my customers contacted me about crocheting earwarmer headbands for the winter. I had never done so before, but I figured they seemed easy enough. I searched Google for a pattern I liked, and when I wasn't able to find one, I decided to make my own! These headbands are incredibly quick  to work up (they take about an hour start to finish), and are just too cute when they are done!

How gorgeous is my model, Rielle?

They can be crocheted in any color combo you can dream up, any ginormous head you need to fit and any embellishments you desire- for no added cost! My earwarmer headbands are a flat $15 each (shipping included, as always!), however, if you decide to purchase more than one you receive a 10% discount. The 10% discount can be used with any two different items, if you want to buy an earwarmer headband for yourself (come on, you deserve it!) and a hat for your child (you know you can't resist!), you still receive a 10% discount for buying more than one item from my shop.

These are a perfect Christmas gift or stocking stuffer! Order one in your best friend/girlfriend/boyfriend/child's school colors for a custom gift! I can even drop a hint to your hubby if you'd like ;)

Happy Monday!

For the love of buttons...

I made it again! Maybe I can actually make this a regular thing? How many posts in a row until I can stop mentioning that I am actually creating posts in a row? 3? Alright, I'll stop.

My new favorite thing is buttons. I love adding buttons to hats. My daughter's go-to fall beanie isn't very extravagant, but I think the button just really ups (Is that a word? Beyond the guys who deliver new yarn and lots of buttons to my front door?) the cute factor.

Infant Crochet Boots (FREE SHIPPING)

I sent a couple of similar hats to two of my photographers, Geno Photography and Liz Ann Marcus for some sweet pics. Carrie (over at Geno Photography) is still waiting for her newbie to arrive, so she sent me a product photo to hold me over until she fills my inbox with squishy newborn goodness.

I love it, and I can't wait to see what she does with it once she has a model to try it on.

If you follow my Facebook page then you probably saw the most adorable photo ever:

Ah, so cute right?! Well it must be your lucky day, because photographer Liz Ann Marcus (located in Spicer, Minnesota for you locals) sent me another photo of this sweet babe in one of my favorite hats.

Droolworthy, eh? If that doesn't make you want to have lots of sweet babies then I don't know what will!

Happy Wednesday!
