My 2.5 year old son has the cutest little girlfriend ever. Seriously. These kids are attached at the hip when they are together. Oh you want to see photos? Well, of course.
Yup, they were feeding each other cake. I know, it's the cutest thing you've ever seen. How does this even remotely relate to crochet, you're thinking? Just wait, I'm getting there.
Sweet M had a hot pink/zebra themed 2nd birthday party, and since I love to throw in a crocheted surprise for people's birthday gifts, I crocheted her a black and white striped hat with a hot pink accent. I only took one photo of it, which is of course on my broken laptop, so I snatched this photo from M's mom.
I made a three layer flower with a black button in the middle, so cute. Well, M's mom's friend (confused yet?) loved M's hat, and wanted one just like it, except with red accents for a boy.
Presenting- the boy version!
Awesome, right? I can't wait to see how well it is liked by M's mom's friend. I feel the urge to make a whole rainbow collection of these. Or maybe someone can just order them and get them photographed by an awesome custom photographer to share on my Facebook page/blog? Yea, that sounds like a great idea!
Happy Thursday!
I made it again! Maybe I can actually make this a regular thing? How many posts in a row until I can stop mentioning that I am actually creating posts in a row? 3? Alright, I'll stop.
My new favorite thing is buttons. I love adding buttons to hats. My daughter's go-to fall beanie isn't very extravagant, but I think the button just really ups (Is that a word? Beyond the guys who deliver new yarn and lots of buttons to my front door?) the cute factor.
I sent a couple of similar hats to two of my photographers, Geno Photography and Liz Ann Marcus for some sweet pics. Carrie (over at Geno Photography) is still waiting for her newbie to arrive, so she sent me a product photo to hold me over until she fills my inbox with squishy newborn goodness.
I love it, and I can't wait to see what she does with it once she has a model to try it on.
If you follow my Facebook page then you probably saw the most adorable photo ever:
Ah, so cute right?! Well it must be your lucky day, because photographer Liz Ann Marcus (located in Spicer, Minnesota for you locals) sent me another photo of this sweet babe in one of my favorite hats.
Droolworthy, eh? If that doesn't make you want to have lots of sweet babies then I don't know what will!
Happy Wednesday!
