Crochet Bracelet!

I love crocheting items that are not hats or headbands every once in a while, and this bracelet was the quickest & easiest that I've made yet!

Since it was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old sister (yes I have a lot of sisters!) I already know that she loves it! (:

Snowflake Ornaments!

These little snowflakes are so quick and easy to whip up that I thought I would throw some together for our Christmas tree!

I used both red and green yarn to hold the snowflake on the tree, and the green is VERY hard to see, so if you want ornaments that blend well with the tree then the green loop is the way to go!
Here's a close-up of one with the green loop, if you look closely you can see it.
They look great don't they? And they'll last for years to come (:

One Size Fits All Headband

This headband is a little different from the others that I've made in the past because I crocheted around a plastic headband for it. This specific one is a gift for my little sister for Christmas because her hair is so thin and feathery that we weren't sure if my regular headbands would hold her hair back, so I came up with this idea.

Cute right? The best part is that it's a one size fits all, so no guessing or measuring and then hoping that it fits once you receive it! I also attached the flower in a way that it can be moved all around the headband instead of being stuck in that place. (It can also be taken off the headband and put back on if you were wondering.) Remember, you can use any two colors (or even three if you'd like!) so don't feel as if you have to use white for any part of the headband. If you're interested, leave me a comment! These can be completed and shipped within 24 hours (depending on what time you order and if I have orders in front of you). Keep watching, I've been crocheting up a storm for gifts and ornaments so the blog will be full!

Snowman!

So after crocheting a bunch of custom orders I decided to make my little man a fun hat. I was brainstorming ideas that I had never seen before, and then it hit me.. SNOWMAN!
And I am absolutely in love with it! Luckily Carter already has a pair of red gloves that I made to match this winter hat that I made for him, so it's perfect! You have to look closely to see the pom on top (representing the snowman's hat), and I love the way that the red & green turned out together (representing the snowman's scarf)!

Tell me what you think; is it completely adorable, a little out there for your taste or just plain creepy? I'd love to get some feedback on it! (:

Custom Order!

And here ends my last custom order of the week.. sad! What's amusing about this hat is that the family doesn't necessarily like the Dallas Cowboys (read: hates them) but they wanted his hat to match his coat.
And doesn't he just look absolutely adorable in it! He pulls off the braids a lot better than my little man does! (BTW: This is a size 18-24 months)

Keep checking in! Soon I will be having my first inventory post, where I post everything that I currently have in stock, ready to ship and your order will be sent out that day! (Or the next day depending on what time of day you order)

Custom Order!

I've been drowning in custom orders lately so I thought I'd leave you guys wanting more! I had a fellow Babycenter mama fall in love with Carter's navy blue & white hat so she wanted one just like it for her 14 month old!
Such a cute hat isn't it? Hopefully mama and baby love it just as much as me and my baby! Stay tuned because this week the blog should be busy, busy, busy!

On a side note, I'd love to post my prices in a tab at the top of my blog where you can click each item to see prices and photos of that price range, anyone know how I can go about that? Thanks a bundle! (:

Keychains Too?!

So I have only showed you the hair accessories that I make (besides the gloves) so I'd like to share my newest creation with you!
My little sister absolutely loves anything with peace signs so I thought I'd crochet her a little keychain for her backpack! It's one of her Christmas presents so hopefully she isn't reading! (; If you'd like one made (in any two colors of your choice) leave me a comment! They only cost $7 and I can definitely have it made before Christmas.

Carter-Bear!

Ever since I made this hat for Carter, his dad calls him Carter-Bear and I just find it to be so adorable!
Keep checking the blog, I'll be adding other animal hats into the mix soon! If you have an animal hat in mind leave me a comment and I'll see what I can do! (:

'Tis the Christmas season!

I am absolutely in LOVE with these Christmas headbands/hats! This headband is the most adorable headband I've made yet.
We were afraid that the hat might be a bit girly, but it's not and we love it! I'm definitely thinking about adding braids, either white braids or white & red braided together.. what do you think?

I'd also like to donate one of these hats to a small child whose parents are having financial difficulties, any ideas on how I should go about that?

Flower Power!

I absolutely love making little headbands! Here's a couple that I have been working on lately. You can choose any color to be the petals, and any color for the middle.. it doesn't have to be white! (: Be sure to let me know what color you want the headband to be too.

(Note: This is my son, the poor thing has to model headbands for me because I don't know any baby girls!)

Giant Flowers..?!

I know that people are always looking for headbands with a giant flower, so here's a photo of one!
Comment me for a custom headband order. And keep reading.. I will have more headbands up later this week! (:

Favoritism

So we are pretty bad about "favoriting" certain hats over others. For example, this hat I made specifically for Carter's 9 month photos, and he hasn't worn it since!
(BTW, how AMAZING is the photography? If you live in Iowa, check out Geno Photography, she has beautiful work and does everything from babies to weddings!)

Anyways, since we were getting bored of our current favorite hat, I decided to make a new favorite. We debated between white lining and light blue, but in the end decided that the white was cuter!
What do you think? Is it done? Should I put a pom on top? Originally we decided that this little aviator hat (it reminds me of Amelia Earhart's hat!) was too cute for a pom but now I'm second guessing so leave your vote!

Do you have any favorite items of yours or your children's? A favorite outfit or accessory? Let me know!

Check out the hat and matching gloves that I made for my 10 month old! They keep him so warm in the cold Iowa winter!
